Okay, sure, this apartment complex is built on a golf course. That's great if you are a golfer - you won't have to travel to a course. But if you want a clean, well-maintained, peaceful home you should not consider Grand Summit. The carpets in my apartment seemed clean when I moved in, but within a few months big stains began to show. The maintenance crew has come out to fix all of the problems I've had, but there have been way too many, in my opinion! There is no insulation, because I hear noises from ALL of my neighbors. It's hot in the summer, cold in the winter, and the electric bills are high!! There is a lot of traffic, especially because my parking lot is not separate from the main road...once the divided road gets to the golf clubhouse it turns and all of the parking is along the road. People are disrespectful when I'm trying to pull in or back out, and they drive way too fast through these lots! The front gate is supposed to be for security, but there have been many times when it's broken. And when it is working properly, people will sit in their cars, idling, waiting for someone to open the gates so that they can sneak in behind them. That's scary, dangerous, and outright rude! I just wanted a nice place to call home - a place with amenities that I could enjoy, but that was also comfortable and peaceful. I guess I'll keep looking.
