Apartment Reviews for Camden - Kansas City

Initially had some serious issues with safety, construction,privacy and staffs responses to my concerns. Bad experience due to these problems. Recently spoke with new maintenance staff member and found out that there was an attempt to make the staff even more customer friendly. THE GROUNDS LOOK GREAT!! Had a problem with a bill and the office staff took care of it without hesitation. I think that with the new changes CAMDEN PASSAGE deserves a bettter rating this time. I even signed on for another year.
I love this place now

I have lived here for about 5 years and had previously been at another apartment complex in the area. I was very unhappy there. They had drug busts all the time and all sorts of questionable characters. I was very happily suprised when I moved here. My place is quite and I have never had any major problems here. I did have my waterheater go out, but the guy came out about 30 minutes after I called and then some carpet cleaning company showed up to clean my carpets that same night. I have told a few friends about the place and he moved in also and he likes his place also. I just signed another contract for another year, so I don't think I will be moving anytime soon unless I buy a house. I have no complaints......

I just moved in a few months ago and I really enjoy it. I was nervous because I got my offer letter from Cerner at the last minute and was pretty short on time when I moved to Kansas City. I did all the paperwork online, so I never saw the place prior to actually moving in. I was pleasantly surprised and have been very happy. I like to play tennis and walk along the lakes. I have had some items that needed repair and they came right out and fixed it. The gentleman was very nice, he didnt talk much but he seemed professional and even left me a note to tell me what he did. I have found out that some of my co workers live here and haven't met one person I work with anyway that disliked it. I would say check it out and ask around. I love it ....

I would strongly suggest that you do your homework.. I looked online and in person before I moved in. So far I really enjoy living here. I was short on time so actually didn't get to see my actual place until I moved in. They did show me one that had furniture in it and it was really nice. I was nervous but overall I feel I made a good choice. I never hear my neighbors . I've met a few of them and they seem very nice. I use the trails and the tennis court alot so for me this place turned out to be perfect. I have suggested this place to some of my co workers and they like it too. I think sometimes you have expectations and what it really is aren't the same. I think some people might have unrealistic expectations. So far this place had lived up to all of mine....

I just moved in and I love my place. I read the previous review and would have to disagree. I dont things are perfect where I live. My toilet was running but they came out the next day to fix it. It sounds like to me that someone might have an axe to grind with Camden. I have told three of my friends about this place and the one that moved in loves it here tooo. the other two couldnt aford it.

The office staff continually change.
The rent never remains the same between leasing agreements.
Maintenance crews and lawn services are exceptional.
Parking is a real issue.
Crime is a serious problem that seems to be neglected. They have very little security actually on site to protect the vehicles and apartments from vandalism. I always wake up 10 minutes early in the morning to check the glass windows on the vehicle to assess their integrity.
It is beautifully landscaped. The ducks are creating a waste hazard and need to be minimized by at least one half.
I have been happy living here but, I certainly don't make long term plans to stay.

The apartment is great location to the airport. The people at the apartment are great in helping you in anyway. (One thing I will miss.) The grounds are clean and updated regularly. I would recommend it to anyone.
