Apartment Review for Quality Hill Towers

I have lived at Quality Hill Towers for nearly 2 years. So far everything I have read is accurate. The windows are old and do not seal. Especially the window that your a/c is in because maintenance just puts the a/c in the window without a seal kit. Yes there are roaches, I have used baits, sprays, foggers and sticky traps, and nothing gets rid of them. At your request only Management will send a professional to spray your apartment. But it does not get rid of the roaches. I have even found a roach in my billfold inside my purse in the dollar bill compartment. The train is loud, people have sex in the day and night in Case Park, parking is impossible if you don't pay extra for off street parking you might have to park 3 blocks away. Maintence has entered my home without my permission, and without me putting a work order in. How do I know? I have a web-cam that records it is set on motion detection. I did have a man come into the lundry room as I was pulling my clothes out of the washing machine and when I put my clothes inthe dryer he walked over and took out a pair of my underwear and sniffed them. He did get fresh with me, and followed me inside the elevator and I pressed the "door open" button and I left the eleveator. Luckily he left me alone after that. So far have lived on a good floor meaning I have normal nice neighbors, no mentally ill, no drug dealers. You can NOT hear threw the walls, they are concrete, but if you stand outside someones door in the hallway you can hear their tv. So what, that's the same anywhere you live. Would I like to move? ABSOLUTELY? But I can't afford to. For rent, off street parking, electricity and internet my total paid is $510. The central gas system does make loud banging noises, but it's free! To move to a nice apartment in a better area it will cost you a minimum of $600 just for rent. My sister paid over $800 for a 2-bedroom apartment in Liberty, MO. Mine is $510 for everything rent, electricity, parking and internet service. I refuse to work 2 jobs to afford to live North of the river. All I can say is that maintenance should be more cautious in entering peoples apartments without a work order because many people have guns and shooting them would be leagal because it is an unlawful entry.

*** If you read compaints about a tenant who lets his dog run loose in the park and yells at his dog. This is true. The man is DEAF and that is his working dog, the man does not realize how loud he is when he gives his dogs commands because he is DEAF. Unfortunately the man takes his dog outside after midnight and no matter if your windows are open or closed you can hear his voice.
