I don't believe management does a thorough background check on their tenants.
My understanding is the combined income of the signees need to make three times the amount of rent. My daughter and boyfriend do not! The BF hasn't held a job in at least 9 months!
I also understand there is no renting to criminals. Though, the boy friend has not committed any felonies he does have a rap sheet.
Who ever runs the creidt check and background check did not do their job, but because these two signed the dotted line they are now bound to their lease, something they can't afford. I believe the management was only interested in money and not the fact these two young adults could afford the apt. or not.
Does this apartment sound safe if they don't run the proper background check? You don't know who your neighbors are, but you are trusting the management to keep the rif raf out. They are not!

I am in a 1 bedroom, Ground level apartment in the main quad. Very quiet in the mornings, low traffic and highway noise in the day, and Peacefull in the evenings. Alot of different people here, American,Bosnian,Latino,Indian. Many Single people to make friends with. Dogs and Cats allowed. I havnt seen any crime, or problems yet. They're HUGE POOL OPENS IN A week or so May 1st. Nice small fitness center and laundry room. Hansdsome young college guys, and some very pretty single women walking around here. <P>
there is never a parking space for me after 5:00. my car was broken into. isuggest going to another complex.
