Some cons ( over a year ago )

These townhomes themseves are very nice, but there are a few things that you need to be aware of. First the management is not very friendly, and it seems that whenever you ask them something you are being a burden to them. Also the wiring/outlets in the place are HORRIBLE. I don't know who designed the electrical stuff, but they did a **** poor job of it. The parking also seems to be pretty full all of the time. Like I said before the townhomes themselves are great, but other things are lacking. <P>

I came to Warson Village a couple of years ago really not expecting to stay any length of time. However, I have been so pleased with my townehouse that I plan on making this my home for a while. It is a quiet, peaceful place with a responsive management and maintenance team. Every now and then the gate at the front of Warson Village has a hard time opening, but other than that things seem to run very smoothly. I have recommended this place to my friends. It's a great place to live!

I'm living here now and currently looking to move elsewhere, but for money issues, not because I want to leave. (Not going to be living w/ my roommate anymore and I can't afford it on my own.)
There are a couple of drawbacks I'll list. In most places, the tenants have to have a combined income that is three times the rent. Here, each tenant must make three times the rent. I barely squeaked by. However, for some this will be no problem. The insulation could also be better, and the kitchen is pretty small. The carpet installation could be a little more professional, but I'm sure they replace it too often for that.
However, I love the washer and dryer upstairs. I love that there IS an upstairs and downstairs. You also get a good-sized back patio with a privacy fence.
The staff is very, very nice. I have never had an issue with them. I've had a few maintenance issues (which you can't fault them for--stuff breaks sometimes), but they've been addressed promptly.
Parking is fine. You might have to walk an extra 20 feet some nights, but get over it.

I lived at Warson Village for a little over two years. The area was a great area and I generally enjoyed living at Warson Village. However, I have a couple of complaints. 1) In the area that I lived, parking was limited. If I would arrive home after 8:30 p.m., I would be forced to park rather far from my apartment. 2) The Warson Village office personnel were not very helpful in terms of negotiating. I once wanted to continue my lease on a month to month lease and did, however the office would not negotiate the additional monthly fee. Because of this, the month to month fee was extremely high and I was forced to move out because of the high fee. This was somewhat frustrating as the complex was clearly not renting at its full capacity. Other than these two complaints, I have to say that my time spent at Warson Village was rather enjoyable. Overall, it is a good place to live.

It is a great place to live. We really like the area and the apartments and have made some great friends. Our reason for wanting to leave is more financial. There are many areas of St. Louis where we can get many of the same ammenities for up to $250 less. Admittedly, we have had some problems with maintanence requests. We submitted a written list at least two months ago and things have still not been fixed. With that said, however, we do enjoy living at Warson Village.
