Review for Columns Iv Apartments

i moved here to continue my education at m.s.u my mom lived here 20 years ago and recommended this place to me.it is close to the universityand was a great place to live at the time she lived here.my experience however as not been the same.while i found the apartments and grounds very nice my experience with the manager has been a nightmare!i arrived at 1:00pm to sign my paperwork and no one was in the office to help me.the manager arrived at 1:30 and informed me i had to wait for her assistant to return from lunch to sign my paperwork. i was upset as i had family with a moving truck waiting for me. she went to her office and began reading a magazine!i asked her if i could get my keys and come back later to sign in.she said no that i would have to wait for her assistant! i couldnt believe she would not help me as i had been waiting an hour already.when the other lady arrived it took only 10 minutes to sign in and get my keys.my first time i went down to pay my rent the office was closed as it was the weekend.when i came in before class on monday morning to pay the manager informed me i had to pay late charges! i said i came over the weekend to pay but no one was here.she said there was a drop box {no one told me about the drop box}i became upset but i wrote the check anyway!as i was about to leave the office she yelled that if i learned to pay my bills on time i wouldnt have this problem!i was shocked and embarrased as there were other people in the office!i have stayed away from her every since and i pay my rent in the drop box!i will be moving as soon as the semester ends and i will never recommend this place to anyone! no matter how nice the place is it doesnt make up for her!A RUDE OLD LADY with no common courtesy or respect for anyone!
