Review for Essex Place Apartments

Worst decision of my life! I picked this apartment because it was affordable for a 2 bedroom..little did I know I'd be paying for it 5 months after I moved out! First of all, they're deceptive. They charged me an extra month and a half rent. While I lived there, utilities were about 30 dollars/month. They told me I didn't need to switch my name off the utilities bill, that it would automatically swich to them when I moved out. I didnt know becuase it was my first time renting, so 3 months later, I realized it had charged me twice 15 dollars and then a charge for 70 dollars! and NOBODY WAS LIVING THERE. Soooo, city utilities said the landlord had to take responsibility for me to get that money back and OF COURSE they did not. So I switched my name off of it and i just got charged AGAIN for their utilities. They aren't taking responsibility for it, I'm out $150 for utilities and $760 extra bull shit charges. DO NOT RENT HERE IT'S NOT CHEAPER IN THE LONG RUN
