Our apartment was in great shape when we moved out. They ended up keeping our entire deposit (over 300 dollars) because they claimed one of our doors was so torn up they had to replace it. Some friends of mine who lived there said they used the same story when they moved out! They will make up stories to keep your money. And people parked in my spot all the time, which I was paying for, and I had to nag them to do something about it.
