Review for Peppertree Apartments

I moved in here because I needed something fast and a place that would accept my two cats and my two roommates. On the day we moved in, the air conditioner didn't work. Took them three days to fix. It broke again two weeks later, and another three days to fix. It's been four months since we've moved in. Everything possible has broken, including the oven, dishwasher, hot water heater, the lock on the front door, and a toilet. Some of these things took two weeks to fix. I found ants on the porch, but those died quickly after using some Terro. The neighbors above us are incredibly loud. Their kids run around at all hours of the day and night, screaming and stomping around. I have the bedroom right below the parents, and I can hear them having sex at night. Not only do I not want to hear that, but it keeps me awake and I end up sleeping on the couch in the other room. The construction to "fix the place up" has been going on for weeks and wakes me and my roommates up at 7 in the morning. And the construction crew leaves things sitting right in front of our door and blocks the way into and out of the apartment. Parking is hell, and it's only made worse by the construction. Fights go on outside occasionally, and one night a man was shoved up against my door and punched in the face. It scared the living daylights out of me. The on-site manager, Tiffany, seems like a nice person, but she doesn't have the go-getter attitude it takes to manage a complex this size. The people she works for, Oakridge Properties, are the biggest tightwads on the face of the planet. They don't take care of their properties, and they don't care about the tenants. They are incredibly cheap. They couldn't even buy a 2-by-4 to to place the furnace on instead of making it sit directly on top of the hot water heater. Overall, it's been a nightmare, and I don't think I can put up with this for another 8 months.
