Apartment Review for Toronto Parcade Apartments

The company was running a special that if you signed a 12 month lease you would get the 13th month free. Now that is it time for me to move out, they have told me I do not get the 13th month free because the lease said 12 months...which was the agreement. They have tried to "compromise" by offering me the 13th month for 1/2 price, but I don't want to give the company any more of my money when I was promised the 13th month. They changed their story multiple times when both myself and my father called to try and work this out. I have been the easiest tenant possible. I paid for the entire year of rent up front, have never had more than 3 people over at one time, am never home because I am always studying on campus. The apartment itself is not awful. There is no parking available and sometimes it is difficult to find parking within the same block. As a young grad student, I didn't feel comfortable walking the streets at night by myself. The noise level is not bad, I only have ever heard my upstairs neighbors. They had to do work on pipes in my apt. and didn't call or leave a note and I came home to a hole in my bathroom wall. They warned me after this that they would be in throughout the week but during construction did not shut the door while they were knocking out the wall and my entire apt. was covered in dust and I had to stay elsewhere for a few days because I couldn't breathe with all the dust. Don't fall victim to their scam.
