Review for Autumn Run Apartments

We lived there for almost a year. When we had to move (we are military) we let them know the day we would be out and the day we had our plane tickets to leave. They scheduled a walk through with us like expected. Wehn the walk through day came 2 days before we left they never showed up. We waited all day for them. The next day we rescheduled..they had something come up... .they scheduled it for the day before we left. Which we had to be at the airport by 4 am. We let them know that too. The walk through was suppose to be at 4pm. So we waited. and waited. and waited some more. At 5 we called. There was no answer. We went to the office and it was closed. GO FIGURE. So we left our key and our cell phone number for them to call us. A couple days later they called and said everything looked fine and they would let us know how much of our deposit we would be getting back. Well months had passed and nothing happened until we got a letter from collections saying we owed Autumn Run over 2600 dollars!!! There were charges to get the place cleaned and the floors done. Which we had already gotten done professionally. . . THEN there was a 1600 charge to redo all of the carpet. After the $200 charge to get the carpet cleaned. There was also a $100 charge to dust the walls... ??? what the.... ? So when my husband called to ask them they(the manager Jennifer) said "well we never did a walk through with you so therefore how will you prove anything?" Then she laughed and hung up. I know that was very long but I really don't want anybody else's credit to get messed up because of Autumn Run. So please do yourself a favor and find somewhere else. I promise you it will be safer anywhere else.
