Review for Royal Oaks Apartments

For a number of years there has been a problem with vehicle break-ins here.  My truck got broken into right after I moved in and the police will never find who did it.  I see a lot of vandalism on vehicles here as well.  And the thieves may have just graduated to arson as we have suddenly had about five fires here in the last two to three months.  Value your stuff?  STAY AWAY!!  or have good renters insurance.If you work late and don't have a garage, then you may have to walk a long way to get to your apartment.  There are no asigned parking spots and the nearest parking is taken by about ten p.m.  I have written to Dann Mann property management about this and recieved no reply.The appearance of the appartments looks o.k.  There is not really any trash laying around all the time and when it snows there are crews to clear it even late at night.The management in the office is proffesional get to problems within one to two days.Maintenance is proffesional and fix what ever problems there are in a timely manner.The condition of the apartments is excellent.  Carpet, walls, floors ect all look good.  Some if not all apartments here have tiny kitchens however.  Mine has no drawers and only one person can stand in it and do work at one time.  There is all kinds of storage in my appartment.  I have two closets in my bedroom, one in the smaller bed room, two closets in the hallway and one right as I enter the apartment.  Living/dining room large.  Bathroom size good.  Easy to clean.  One big down side is there is only on water heater per building so the water pressure and temperture change drastically.  It is like getting ice cubes poured all over you then boiling hot water.When it comes to the noise level the only thing that gets on my nerves is the upstairs neighbors thundering about and what sounds like thowing furniture around each room.  But that is just one apartment.  Like any other apartment you will sometimes hear music from somewhere else but I don't think its a big deal.Overall I would not recomend this apartment.  When I moved in I let appearance decieve me.  The place looked nice but in the end its the things you don't notice right away the ruin it.
