Review for Val Verde Apartments

1. The manager, Nikki, is completely ridiculous. God knows what she spends her work day doing, but it's NOT working. She never answers her cell/ work phone, returns less than half of calls, and paperwork is always weeks later than promised.

2. The walls and floors are paper thin. On top of that, quiet hours are not respected. Management could care less. Never responds to complaints. Lies about responses.

3. DIRTY. The carpet in the stairwells has become black from lack of cleaning. Walls in stairwell are covered in finger prints and lord know what else. I've seen the stairs being cleaned twice in over a year here. The outside is frequently litered with cigarette butts and other disgusting items. Have children that like playing outside? Tough. When snow is plowed, it's plowed right into the parking spots.

4. At first sight, the inside of the apartments are very nice but after time... the walls have crumbled in places from just small taps or heck, no touch at all! The paint is very cheap. Discolors easily and rubs off just as easily. I have a very clean home and if I'm having problems keeping the walls together, other people have it worse! The carpet is stiff and gross feeling under your feet. It's coming up in some corners and I'm sure I'll be blamed. Window frames are falling apart. Some of the cabinets in the kitchen weren't put in right and are crooked. The doors can be broken into by a 6 year old. Locks on outside of building are frequently broken and left for anyone to enter.

This place is disgusting on the outside, trashy on the end, and management could care less about you. Find another place at a different price, and I'm sure you'll be much happier.
