Review for The Heights (Formerly Washington Heights) Apartments

The complex is old and, although they changed the name, they've done no renovating or improvements. The windows do not shut tightly so heat/ac run higher than they should. You can actually hear the neighbors phones ring, even from back rooms. It takes 3-4 minutes for hot water to run and, if someone, even in another apartment, flushes a toilet, the shower will scald you. In my case, only 1 out of 4 move-in checklist issues were addressed. The cost is comparable to the new, high-end complexes. In my building, there are at least 3 of us who have stated we can't wait until our leases are done so we can move.
