Apartment Reviews for Mountain Gate/Mountain Trails - Las Vegas

I've been here for 6 months now and I have to say I really like My apartment and I looked EVERYWHERE... finding a half way decent apartment in Vegas is a chore.

I have one major complaint about this place and maybe its just that the people in this town are generally inconsiderate clueless idiots - but NO ONE curbs their dogs here! There are 'doggie pots' and bag stations everywhere. Its disgusting and reprehensible behavior. The poor staff seem to do all they can to stay on top of it but... I literally watch my neighbors take their dogs out to take a dump on the path or the rocks or the grass and then just walk back inside. In LA you'd likely be assaulted for such an action... here, no one seems to care. I've spoken to neighbors when I see them do this and they couldn't seem to care less. Who ARE these people?!!! ALSO, they say there is a breed restriction, and it says so in the literature, but this is not enforced in anyway - which is also a little disappointing - And I say all of this as a dog owner myself. I've just been appalled by what I've seen here on the part of pet owners....

The apartments are great and the pools are awesome and maintained well... the staff is helpful and friendly... Its literally just the pet situation... and who knows? Perhaps this is just how dumb and rude the general population of this town is... I have to say I've never seen anything like it.
