I have lived at Towers @ Tropicana 1 year in Nov. and I love it!! We are for sure going to resign the lease. The grounds are kept very well, the upgraded apartments are beautiful. The office staff are great! And the maintainence is awesome! And the guys are really nice and fast. When I first moved in our dryer was making a funny noise so we called and then by the time we came back from shopping we already had a new one!! I couldnt believe it!! And most important to me its very quiet and NO BUGS!!!! I havent seen one yet!! I am glad that we choose to live here!! And you would be too!!

I have lived at Tower at Tropicana for three years and plan on being here for a few more years. Every year I go out and search the available apartments all over the West Las Vegas area when it is time to renew my lease, just out of curiosity. The amenities offered and the qualities of the upgraded apartment homes at Tower at Tropicana are not to be matched by any property in this price range or higher. The Office Staff is wonderful to deal with and very accommodating to the residents needs. The Maintenance Department is unmatched anywhere in Las Vegas; they are fast to respond to any tenant maintenance concern called into the office while being friendly and professional at all times. The grounds, pool areas and grilling areas are kept very clean every day, Thank-You Manny, and the landscape company (mowing and trimming trees, shrubs and flowers) is on property frequently. The Floor Plans of the two styles of two bedroom apartments are extremely accommodating as these units offer two bedrooms both with attached full baths, a rarity in this area. The Shopping is wonderful with Albertsons, Smith s, and Sunflower Markets just a block or two away, Walgreens and CVS are a half of a block away in either direction and a Wal-Mart Super Center just over a mile away. I could go on and on but I think you understand how much I enjoy the lifestyle Tower at Tropicana offers and the convenience of its location. Barry

I am a resident of Tower at Tropicana and the office staff is very helpful, and now that we have John as our on-site manager it is even better, before he took over this property you felt like you were visiting romper-room when you visited, or called the office, very childish behavior from the old on-site manager L.J. The maintenance staff is quick to respond, very professional and friendly. The grounds, including the pools, spa and fitness building are extremely well kept at all times.

Now for that word “LUXURIOUS” and the words “GOURMET KITCHENS”, the kitchen you see in the model is the only time you will see anything that remotely resembles a “GOURMET KITCHEN” and the last time you see an upper-end appliance will be in the model also. The kitchens in these apartments have never been redone since they were originally installed in 1991 when the apartments were built, except for the chrome wine racks that are located over the dorm sized refrigerators (the heat of the refrigerator is not good for wine). The cabinets are fiberboard with swollen and chipped finishes; sagging fiberboard shelves that are not deep enough for your plates, the cabinet doors have a Formica finish that is scratched and stained, the stoves circa 1991, are covered in scratches which are poorly covered up with spot paint. The countertops are painted-over, as are the counters in the bathrooms, the linoleum in the kitchen and both bathrooms is cut, burned, and stained. The “Newer” appliances that are actually in the apartment you rent are so low-end that they run-up your electric bill and do not work very well. Speaking of bills, that water bill they tell you that you will pay on top of the rent is not only for water, you will be paying for trash and sewer, plus a wonderful little service charge they tack on for the privilege of them over charging you for water, the bill fluctuates from $60.00 to $90.00 a month for water because they use what is called a R.U.B. method to calculate your bill, look up this type of utility billing on the internet. They use a service called Con-Service for the water, sewer, and trash billing; look them up for their reviews also.

The only term that can be used is “bait and switch” when it comes to what the model portrays and what you actually move into. So yes, do a walk through!! But then you will have already terminated your lease at your previous home or apartment, will have paid the non-refundable $120.00 holding fee and the application fees and will have your furniture in a truck waiting to move in. So leasers beware!!! Of the mistakes that I have signed myself into in my lifetime this one is at least bearable in that the staff is excellent, the exterior of the apartment complex is very nice and the floor plan meets my needs.
