Just okay... ( 12/27/2012 )

Reviewed by: Anonymous
We've lived here for almost a year and will be leaving as soon as the lease is up.
Cons: closets are very small; you have no control over the heat so the winter is pretty cold (it is currently 64 degrees in our living room); no washer/dryer in unit; pests (it seems from our downstairs neighbor since the ants were in our bedroom closet and the mice didn't eat our food); very little kitchen space; kitchen cabinets have been painted too many times and are a layer of inch thick paint; cabinets are too small; neighbor smokes and their smoke smells strong in our hall closet and living room; parking is a pain most nights and one ends up parking in a lot across the complex or on the street; bathroom is very ugly with paint splatters everywhere; maintenance men are sloppy when they fix problems, but are very quick to respond; cracks in paint on walls; and walls are thin so if you have a loud neighbor, you'll hear everything.
Pros: office staff is very nice and helpful; ideal location if one works in Philly; great location to amazing restaurants and shops; rent is reasonable; gas stove is great; brand new fridge in the unit; maintenance staff responds to requests immediately.
Overall, it is an okay place to live. But, we are looking forward to leaving.
