Apartment Review for Westbrook At Weatherby Apartments

Dont be fooled by the 1 star rating. I was forced to put something in. This was the absolutely worst experience of our lives. In the 2 years that we lived at Westbrook, it was the biggest regret and biggest waste of money since moving to Swedesboro,NJ. Unfortunately, we didnt have many options in the area until we looked into renting a home.

The property manager is incompetent and unresponsive to your requests and needs. If you believe you have 24 hour emergency service which is what we were told at orientation, trust me...you dont! Our air conditioner failed on a weekend in the middle of a heat wave and our apartment reached 90 degrees on the thermostat. When i called for immediate assistance, I was told by the property manager that a broken air conditioner does not constitute an emergency situation. Thank God I am not elderly although i aged 50 years having to endure the sweltering heat.

When you see them nickel and dime you throughout your lease for rent, late fees, and other services, dont be surprised! Not only will it happen, there is no recourse to reverse those decisions.Never ask to speak to upper management because they dont exist.

There are many positive aspects to living in this community but Westbrook at Weatherby Apartments is not one of them. If you currently live there, end your lease as quickly as you can. If you are thinking about moving in, keep on moving!!!
