Apartment Review for Broadstone Estates

I am the type of person who reads ALL the reviews on line and am very cautious about apartment complexes. I am new to Albuquerque and stayed with family while I looked for a place. A lot of reviews scared me from choosing apartments around Albuquerque until I found BroadStone Estates. The thing I loved about BroadStone Estates was the location and the view. Yes the rent is highly priced, for what I am paying for a 1 bedroom I could be renting a house. However it's a gated community and the gate has only been broken once in the past 4 months I've lived there. You also get a covered spot; I've never had any issues with people parking in my spot. It's relatively quiet (in the evenings and on weekends during the day there are kids running around being kids but that is expected anywhere). I find it to be very peaceful and quite after 10pm just fine, the grounds are kept up and look clean. Overall I would say the price is worth it for the neighborhood and quality of neighbors (the price weeds out the crazy & irresponsible young kids). Also every unit has a washer and dryer in it which was something I noticed a lot of apartments didn't offer. The only minor complaint I would say is there are A LOT of pigeons and they are very annoying, their droppings are everywhere as well (stairs & patio). Minus the pigeons I would highly recommend the BroadStone Estates if you are a responsible professional who wants to live in a safe, nice & quite apartment.
