Gatewood Apartments is now Woodberry Heights

Crime Central - tried to change the name to mask the problem which are in abundant. Located on Montgomery Blvd which is a mecca for crime. Think more than 2 x before ever considering this place.

Woodberry Heights / Gatewood DOES accept Section 8 contrary to the previous comment rating. The apartments are just made to look renovated but the underneath is a night mare.

My girl friend lived there and on a first floor, the pipes (sewer) backed into her apartment from 4 floors up and flooded her apt with SEWAGE into her tub. She had to deal with it constantly happening over and over again for at least a week. Would you enjoy having some elses (sh---t) in your tub every night. The environment there is like a prison. You must go into the courtyard where all the busy bodies and gossipers are to get any fresh air outside your apt. Not a pleasant place to live. the running brook in the courtyard can have a pleasant look but can also be a pain in the a-- because of the loud noise, sounds like the roaring rapids. Be very careful who you speak with, criminals are lurking every where at Gatewood/Woodberry and they are protected by Mgmt.
