Review for La Paloma Apartments

La Paloma was purchased by new management and the laid-back, accomodating customer-service is no longer. Why the new owners had to paint the outside of the buildings a curry/camel combination and then justify this as being the reason for the rent hikes is absurd to us. You would think they would want to keep their current tenants. We have seen several move-outs over the past few months probably because people feel like they are being charged too much and not getting any added-value. The apartments themselves are pretty standard... I hear that the lower-levels have ant problems. This morning the sewage line was clogged again and we witnessed a nasty sewage flood in the courtyard for the second time this month but **it happens.

On a positive note, the campus is very pretty and the location across from the Academy is very nice. One can walk to the grocery store and the paths behind the complex are convenient.
