OUR FAMILY MOVED INTO LAS MANANITAS IN AUGUST OF 2010 AND HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT A PLEASANT LIVING EXPERIENCE. LUXURY AND PROFESSIONALISM ARE HARD TO COME BY IN ALBUQUERQUE, ESPECIALLY ON THE WESTSIDE OF TOWN. OUR SERVICE REQUESTS ARE ALWAYS COMPLETED IN AN EXTEMEMLY TIMELY MANNER, AND WE ALWAYS FEEL WELCOME WHEN WE USE THE AMMENITIES. THE COMMUNITY IS QUIET AND IN A GREAT LOCATION, WE ALWAYS WALK ACCROSS THE STREET TO THE SHOPPING CENTERS AND THE NATURE TRAILS. WE WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMMUNITY OVER AND OVER AND HAVE A FABULOUS TIME HERE. WE HAVE NO DESIRE TO LEAVE ANYTIME SOON, ESPECIALLY SINCE WE CONSIDERED LIVING ELSE WHERE BEFORE LOOKING AT LAS MANANITAS. PROFESSIONALISM, CLASS AND LUXURY ARE WHAT YOU WILL FIND AT LAS MANANITAS.

When I first moved in I was sold on the grounds and amenities. What you aren't told is that you can't use the ammemotoes except during working hours, how is that accessible when my husband I are at work as well as our family and friends? It was one problem and uncomfortable living situation after another. It all started when we were disturbed during the day by Brian the manager running through the parking lot in his underwear chasing another man. I am unsure if they were drinking but it was emberassing! Especially because we had family over for our sons baptismal lunch. Everytime we went in to the leasing office there was a different staff, never had we not had a consistent support system from an apartment complex. Our neighbors and I had bets on how long the newest staff member would last. So far I've won $50. Maitrnance staff is great and always fixes our issues. We came from broadstone initially and as soon as our lease was up we ran for the hills. So if you like a rotating staff, a manager emberassing you in front of family members, not being able to use the ammenities and gates that never work then this is the place you want to be. We move back to broadstone and regret ever leaving, the staff is the same as when we left and we know we can have family here without being ashamed. The manager is horrible at las mananitas and guaranteed if a poll was taken from our neighbors there, they all left from poor treatment from him.

the grounds are beautiful, great work out area, computer room nice, most of the staff are nice and professional. How ever I was told that renting a downstairs unit would be quiet, BIG MISTAKE! Someone forgot to insulate between the floors and we can hear our neighbor walk across the floor close her cabinet doors run her water, it is horrible. I would not recommend this place at all. I feel like we were mislead. We chose this place because it looked so nice and was really a new complex. You would think for this kind of money the floors would be concrete but they are not! We could have rented any where in Albuquerque. I have to pay two months rent get out of this almost 2000.00 because I can not handle the over head noise. I am a disabled Viet Nam veteran on disability for PTSD this overhead noise makes me nuts. So Renters Beware! My apt # is 1512 my phone number is 918-440-0207 if you want to talk further.

My husband and I live in the apartments and let me say it was very hard to sell our home and move into an apartment at our age. we looked at over 20+ apts in Abq and RR and LMananitas was the BEST.. Yes it is pricey but we love the convience to ABQ and RR, the POOL, the work out room, the grounds a are gorgeous, some of the staff comes across standoff ish but once you get to know them, follow the rules, and treat them with the respect they deserve you will end up with a professional and kinf relationship. Wouldnt you rather have a beautiful, clean, safe place to live with a staff that cares then the other choice. I highly recommend this complex, keep in mind if someone where is cheaper maybe theres a reason for it.
Come in look around, talk to them you wont be disappointed.

I CURRENTLY LIVE AT LAS MANANITAS AND AFTER LIVING IN COMMUNITIES ALL OVER THE COUNTRY, HAVE FOUND THIS ONE OF THE NICEST WITH THE MOST PROFESSIONAL STAFF I HAVE SEEN. THE PROPERTY IS IMMACULATELY KEPT ALL OF THE TIME. THE EMPLOYEES ARE ALL VERY COURTEOUS AND HELPFUL. I KNOW WHO THE LADY IS THAT WROTE THE REVIEW AND SHE WAS ASKED TO LEAVE BECAUSE SO MANY OF HER NEIGHBORS WERE COMPLAINING ABOUT HER. SHE WAS RUDE & ABNOXIOUS TO EVERYONE. I AM SO GLAD THE MGMT. TOOK ACTION RIGHT AWAY WITH HER.

The staff here are rude/deceptive. The owner is unreliable. Rules & regs are not enforced as per the lease agreement. I gave a $99 dep on a 2nd flr 1 bdr apt, #1311 on 04/08/09 for a move in date of 06/01/09. Constr probs put my new move in date @ 07/01/09. When I did move up & AFTER the lease sign I was told apt #1311 was a a 1st flr apt. I spoke w/mgmt the folowing Mon, 07/06/09. The mgr did give me a 2 bdr 2nd flr apt for the price of orig 1 bdr apt. I was a happy camper! I had paid elec & gas deps on #1311 as required by the complex before move in. Then I was charged new elec & gas deps for replacement apt. Mgr stated, on 07/06/09 that she would pay elect & gas deps on orig apt, #1311 & I would pay elec & gas deps on new, 2bdr apt, #3124. I was satisfied. Then on 08/07/09, Sat,I get a bill from the gas company for the dep on apt #1311. I take the bill to the apt mgr Mon, 08/10/09 to inquire if/why the dep had not been paid as I was orig informed by the mgr that it would be paid. The mgr, Mrs Gomez said that, "I don't have a checkbook I cannot pay the bill." Then she said,"I told you I would give you a credit." That is NOT what Mrs Gomez said to me on 07/06/09. She initially told me, "Bring me the elec & gas bills for #1311 & I will take care of them for you, it was our mistake, it's the least I can do." On 08/10/09 Mrs Gomez also stated, "I have had complints about you complaints." "What do you expect of me?" I informed Mrs Gomez that this current issue is indicative of the rental reps & mgt's problems. Mrs Gomez continued to antagonize the situation & I continued to advocate for myself. She said, "I am not going to dicuss this matter further." I asked her for her supervisor's name, ph# & an address. Mrs Gomez gave me the name Terri Brown & Ms Brown's ph# & said that Ms Brown was an owner. I called Ms Brown & informed her of the probs & my concerns. Ms Brown simply defended her mgr & staff. I said that for the 11 mos remaining on my lease I would pay my rent on time, not file any complaints w/mgmt & when asked my opinion of the complex by others, that I would NOT recommend it. Ms Brown then told me, "So, you are going to bad mouth the property then I will terminate your lease & give you 30 days to vacate." I said, "Thank you." & ended our conversation.
