Apartment Review for Riverwalk La Paz

Don't let the new exterior paint fool you. The interior of these apartments are old, outdated and in need of major repairs. I've lived here for 2 years and I'm still waiting for repairs that I asked for on move in to be made. I had to wait for over 1 year just to get a working refrigerator. I stayed because I loved my outdoor patio space and the local Corrales walking trails. But now we can now longer provide any privacy blocking (bamboo, trellis or lattice) for our patios. They have told us that we are only allowed to use chicken wire. I'll be leaving as soon as my lease is up. Be aware that the rent increases significantly every year and there is an increasing crime problem within the complex. Two of my neighbors have been robbed at gun point in broad daylight taking their garbage out. Also, the air conditioning units are so old and inefficient, my electric bill topped $250 each month of last summer. (Non-summer months run around $32.) It may look beautiful on the exterior. It's not so great on the inside.
