Review for The Retreat At Candelaria Apartments

This complex used to be one of the best places to live. That is, before the new mgm. took over. I had a leak from the upstairs apt, and that didn't even reach priority. The apt. upstairs was leakng form the shower and the I called to let the office know, let me just go back a bit. There was a postcard placed in every mailbox that reported toxic mold in the complex, it stated that the mgmt had been notified of this and nothing was being done. The apt. upstairs was leaking horribly into my bathroom, the wall was so wet it was easily punctured. After i notified mgmt of the problem, they responded, only to completely tear put my bathroom wall and partial ceiling. About 2 weeks later they came back by to throw up a peice of drywall, letting me know at that time they would be back, they just could not tell me when. About 2 weeks after that one of the maintenance guys came by knocking on my door early in the am, he said he had an emergency work order for a leak. Let me reind you, the leak was reported 4 weeks earlier. I told him at that time he was not needed due to the fact my lease was up and I did not feel this had been a priority for the Prime Group then and they could wait until I had vacated to do any repairs. The maintenance men don't even live on site, that should tell you something !! This is a horrible place to live!!
