Apartment Reviews for University Studio Apartments - Albuquerque

I have lived here for over 5 years. Overall, you get what you pay for. The kitchen is incredibly small with no counter space, but with ample storage. However, storage in the rest of the apartment is minimal. The only additional storage space is your closet which is standard with its sliding doors. THE BATHROOM HAS NO STORAGE WHATSOEVER! Neighbors can be heard walking around upstairs and you can hear tvs, music, etc. AFter a while you become immune to the normal sounds in the building. There hasn't been any loud fights, parties, etc, at least in the building I live in. I pay $425 for mine, but starting prices for new tenants is going to be 475. IF you ask me, you could probably find much nicer for just a little bit more than that.. Management is fine, never had a problem, and I needed my refrigerator replaced which they did fairly promptly. Jose is the groundskeeper and he is very nice. The reason I've lived here so long is the location. You can't beat living so close to the university, cnm, and the downtown area. One frustration I've had is parking.... it's hard to find a parking space after 7pm. Also, my car was stolen from this apartment complex (although I wouldn't blame the complex, but merely the location). The laundromat is small with 4 washers and 4 dryers. Other tenants frequently leave their laundry sitting there for hours so I have to try to do mine either early in the morning or late at night. I did witness a break-in to the machines and that resulted in no laundry service for like a month. (this was about a year ago) I just wanted to post a honest review because I appreciate it when others do, it helps with finding a new apartment.
