Review for Park Place Apartments

where do I start. This place sucked so bad I asked for my money back after the first 3 days! When we looked at the place the management took us to a different apartment and showed it to us saying that the one that we were going to move into still had someone living there for the net couple of days. So we next saw the apartment that we were going to rent but they stated that the apartment would be ready for our move in date. They charged us a fee to clean the apartment that they stated that would not be refunded. On move in day they could not find the key to the apartment.After several hours they finally showed up with one. Once we went inside the place was a dump! It was a 2 bedroom and in the 2nd bedroom where we were going to let my 3yr son hve had a huge hole on the closet with 220 volt wires exposed. The kitchen stove didn't work and the place was covered in spider webs. All along the border of the floor base boards was thick dust in every room. In the bathroom above the shower was a hole in the ceiling that they "tried" to fix but huge chunks were falling into the bath tub. When all of this was brought to the managers attention it took several hrs for them to respond. In the bedroom they put a sheet of wood over the hole and called it good. They never fixed or even tried to repair the stove along with the bathroom above the tub. Ater the management team left I when into the master bedroom and noticed that the closet was missing one of the doors that slide back. Our first nite there our neighbors had a party that lasted into the morning. My sons room was right next to them and it sounded as if the stero was in his room. The walls are ultra thin ( you can hear your neighbors actually going pee!!). We gathered up the kids ( 3yr old and a newborn) and we to my inlaws for the night. The next day I returned to find our front door to be littered with beer bottles and trash. I can armed with a camara to take photos of the apartment to present to the management team of the apartments condition. I had to wait 2 days since it was the weekend to speak to somebody ( nobody picked up on the emergency line number). When they opened Monday I was in the office. I had with me 2 copies of photos of the apartments condition. The lady in charge of the office was very rude and stated that she had a maid service clean the apartment and that the dust along all the walls on the floor was from us moving in!! I told her I wanted all my money bac and that I was moving out. She stated that it was going to take 14 to 21 days to get my money back. She was going to charge me for 3 days rent and that the cleaning fee that I had payed before I moved in would NOT be refunded to me. She stated that I needed to be out that same day or another days rent would be added to by bill. I gathered all our belongings and turned in the keys to the front office. Two days later they called saying that I was going to be charged for failing to return the keys to them. I would never tell anyone not even my worse enemy to move here. Look anywhere but here to live. It it not even worth it to put up with the crap that they throw at you.
