Review for The Grove Apartments

I came to this apartment complex hoping to see what i saw on the online tour. What I got was an unfinished complex that kept moving back my move-in date and i was barely moved in by the day classes started, which is not what they promised at the time I signed the lease. Just an example of the poor management: I came home late at night after a long day and found that my key no longer would open my door. Neither of my room mates were home so I went to the club house looking for an explanation. The front desk people didn't have any good answers for me, just that the locks had been changed and I needed to pick up my key from them. Neither I nor my two room mates had been informed on this prior to it happening. What really made me uneasy was that if I (and/or my room mates) had come home about 2 hours later, the front office would have been closed and locked and the after hours number we were given to call is the exact same number as the regular office hours.... so basically we all would have been locked out of our apartment for the night. Hopefully the new management since then can and will do a better job but so far I haven't seen too many improvements. So unless you like seeing throw-up stains right outside your door and trash everywhere, I don't recommend living here.
