Review for Great Neck Terrace Apartments

For the people living in Great Neck, the name Great Neck Terrace brings us memories of several things. Our poor upbringings, the gangs of great neck, and poverty. Well, what was once section 8 housing, is now heading towards a luxury community. In the last few few years, thmanagement board has done many things to make this large place a desirable place to be. First, they hired a management firm that is deals with Park Avenue and gated community type residences. Then, with an unknown influx of saved money, new fences, new mailboxes and call buttons, and new painting around the halls were put in. While there was always a community park and a pool club, they really updated the pool club, with such things as a having parties with a d.j. and catering company several times a month. Also, the Terrace's board has buckled down, and something not seen at this apartment complex is people loitering. There is much greenery, and 2 parks, that the neighbors built, with carved furniture and mini bamboo trees. In the greenery, people own their own barbeques. Not forgetting 24 hour- security. Pricing is split into 2 parts of this complex. The part of it in Queens school usually go between $190,000-$250,000. The division in Great Neck School District can go from $225,000- $380000, $380 being a 2 bedroom unit complete with a partial kitchen, dinette, large living room, and bedrooms that are a nice size, and a private garage.
