Review for Bay Shore Gardens Apartments

What more can I say? I had the apartment professionally painted by the owners painter and agreed to prep it for white paint when I vacated. That was two years ago. I requested the owner to inspect the apartment and let me know exactly what he wants done before I vacated (as I was more than willing when I was there and before I relocated out of State). I had all the original Benjamin Moore Paint numbers for them, plus original left over paint if they wanted to maintain the same pleasant interior.
Two weeks before I vacated I got the owner to see the apartment and he clearly told me, in front of a witness, not to do anything to the apartment and leave it as is.
So I vacated 3/31.
For weeks I was asking when can I expect my deposit back and after 60 days he now tells me he wants me to reimburse him to white prep the walls. He is basically welching on his word.
After six years of tenancy and even referring others to rent there I now feel there are many apartments available in the area and pass on Bayshore Gardens. It is not worth the aggravation.
