Review for Village Court Garden Apartments

OH MY GOD!!!

I have been renting for a long time and let me tell you something...this place SUCKS!! When the old manager (rest her soul) was the apartment manager it was so much nicer.
Ever since the white trash super and his rude white trash wife took over the place it has gone down hill. If you need a repair then you might as well do it yourself...the "maintenance crew" is never around...you wonder if they even do anything??? and the crew is more like one person. The landlord never keeps an average number of staff members.

The Laundry room is a joke...there are not enough machines and the dryers are never working...the super tried to make it look better but is still looks like a dump. Thank god there is a laundrymat around the corner.

Most of the people living here are either doing or recovering from drugs & alcohol. Its never a surprise to see cops here...its actually more surprising to go at least a month without seeing them. I have seen everything for 7 cops and 2 Detectives just for one apartment and let's not forget the laundry room fire, supposedly the teenagers were smoking pot and lit the lint trap on fire.
I have a neighbor that is a heavy drinker who beats up on his wife, screams and curses...Also there are people here that are so drunk that they walk around aimlessly trying to talk when all they do is slur thier words and they get into your business. I can't even sit outside my own apartment on a nice day without being harrassed.

Are there some decent people here? Yes, there are some clean and sane people but not much and they usually stay to themselves.

I am planning on leaving ASAP and telling everyone i know to stay away. With the amount of money that you pay a month there is nothing in return...no repairs done, no playgroud, no rec center, NOTHING just a bunch of weird, white trash, drunk people.

I keep seeing people come and go looking at the vacant apts. All i say is that i feel so bad for them.

Don't waste your time or money on this place...you will regret it!!!!!!!

not true!! thats why Money Pit will remain anonymous. The super puts in 14 hr days, but I guess for some people that is not enough. Most tenants love the supers wife. I dont know one person she doesnt like here. well maybe one doesnt like her because he connected a washing machine to his apt, He lives upstaires, He caused extensive damage to the woman living below him, She is in a wheel chair. This man knew he couldnt hook up that washing machine. our pipes are not able to stand up to that much volume. So know the supers wife is rude?Oh please. I say you, we got a bargain with your rent. Your neighbors are terrific people and the grounds are nice. For the price you pay you got a pretty fair deal. By the way if you have problems with the place talk to janet and tom they are very dedicated and Tom works his but off he will fix your apt. But you cant make some people happy no matter what you do. We have Nuns living here, teachers, and police officers. Give your neighbors a break. I hope they dont find out what you think of them
