Review for Franklin Park Apartments

The office for this complex is run by careless idiots to be nice.

They have lost my rent check three times in a six month period, and sent me late fee notices. When I took my bank statement to the office and showed them they got the payments they were "sorry" but it continued.

I have a dog and the office knows that, she is on the lease. They saw her when I moved in two years ago, then at the one year mark, when I was there to renew, they made me bring my dog to the office again. Today I got another phone call asking "Do you have a dog?" YES I DO... You've seen her more than once and approved it twice for me to move in and renew - stop calling about it.

Next, they don't know laws, but try to force them on people. Each winter they put up notices for all units saying "Government regulation states you must keep your apartment at 68 degree" -- WRONG. The government regulation states THEY must be able to provide at least 68 degree to the tenant. They have been corrected on this but yet continue to do the wrong thing.

Finally, every Mon/Wed/Fri they have a lady come around and collect all the mail that people do not take into their apartment. I've contacted the post office about it and they said it is illegal for them to throw out another persons mail - even junk mail.

This place does not care about laws, even rules THEY create and make you sign in your lease. Do not bother with this place.
