Apartment Review for Ridgeview Apartments

This place is worse than ****! The management staff is very unprofessional and unfriendly. They appear very sweet and considerate at the time of signing the lease but soon drop the act. The apartment is in bad shape, things one discovers only after the move-in. The washer-dryer untis and dishwasher are outdated and almost always in need of repair. The surrounding areas are poorly maintened and the maintenance staff is very rude and unhelpful. The response time especially in an emergency is very slow. They have a toll free complaint number to register complaints but the response is still localised so often delayed which is very frustating for the renter. Parking facilities are also bad. Most residents do not pay for second parking and use the visitors lot for parking causing much frustation when one genuinely has friends visiting. This place has been a terrible experience and we are looking to move as soon as the lease runs out. People hoping to rent in Elmsford should sincerely try to look at other apartments or surrounding areas such as Whiteplains and Tarrytown before considering Ridgeview Apts. Come here if you have run out of all options!!! <P>
