Review for Chili Commons Apartments

I moved in and had a gap at least 1/2 inch wide in the top of the sliding doors that you could NOT close. The floor at the bottom of the doors was rotted out and there was literally a hole the size of a softball under the NEW carpet that they laid just before I moved in (after I looked at the apartment). The furnace didn't work well at all. It came on exactly 2 minutes after it would kick off, and then run for 5 minutes, kick off for 2, run for 5, and I froze the whole time as the fan was as old as the unit (30 years). They didn't want to fix any of it. I wihheld rent and they took me to court for it. I showed the judge the numerous letters I had sent them and their maintainance notes where they claimed to fix things. He made them fix them and then I paid them the rent.

Although I loved living in North Chili, I would not rent from them again at all.
