Review for Spring Pond Apartments

The worst apartment experience. First off this place is built on a marsh . There is always dampness . There are no basements so the water comes through the foundations. Expect to see bugs etc.. if you are on the first floor that crawl through your carpet. Not good for pets or kids. The grounds are loaded with water fowl. There is poop and bacteria laden waste everywhere. Kids were always getting worms etc.. and both of our dogs got giardia. The laundry facilities are horrible. Old, dark and dangerous. There is a problem with bears and the facility is pitch black at night, There is no local police force, just state troopers so don't depend on things being secure, There have been constant owner changes. There are also rodent problems. The workmenship on the apartments is poor. We had a fire in the back of our apartment. When the fire men removed the siding they found no insulation - thats right, There is no insulation in most walls so expect sky high heat bills and lots of drafts. Do yourself a favor and do not rent here . The staff is also the bottom of the barrel. Very unprofessional and gives you all lip service . They are all over you till the moment you move in. The fact that none of them reside at the complex speaks volumes.There also is no onsite maintence and most of the maintence people live over 30 miles away in the next state.
