Review for Chelsea Ridge Apartments

I moved to Chelsea Ridge right after I got married. I lived there for two years, and then went through a divorce, which was emotional. My ex husband was very upset, and for some reason went to the office of Chelsea Ridge and told them that I was using the apartment to meet new men - he used more rude terms, but this is a public forum. The next time I called the office to report a maintenance problem, I was informed, very rudely, that my husband had been in to see them and I was no longer welcome at Chelsea Ridge and had to move NOW. I was not permitted to explain my side of the story or show them that my husband was lying about the situation. In additoin to that little treat, I also had bees in my apartment. I called maintenance several times, and they would come by and leave a note while I was at work that they could not find the bees. Meanwhile there would be 10-12 of them dead on the carpet when I came home each night. I also got stung getting out of bed one morning which is when I really lost it. There were also constantly major plumbing problems. The roof of the building I lived in was blown off the year before I moved there in a tornado. This is the excuse they used to explain the years of plumbing issues. At one point, there was a leak downstairs from me, and the maintenance men came into my apartment to look and see if they could find the cause. My shower curtain was opened, and I had two towels on the floor because my shower mats were in the wash. The maintenance person went on to tell my downstairs neighbors that I was the cause of the leak, that he went in there and I had the shower curtain open with the shower running and wet towels all over the floor. This was not the case... and then without my knowlege or permission, the entered my apartment the next day, took down my shower rod, and installed shower doors in my bathroom. Months later, the leak downstairs was not fixed.

I've seen the renovations, and yes they are nice, however, the price they charge for rent is insane, and they are really just not nice people. I recommend staying away.
