Apartment Review for Sherwood Terrace

I'm so glad I found this site because I thought I was the only one that had a problem with my apartment. And I would hardly call the rent here cheap. The heat is non existant, right now it is 64 degrees in my apartment. Management and the heat complaint line have done nothing to rectify the problem. You can hear the wind wistling through the cheap windows and the roaches, please. It would help if they at least kept the garbage cans covered in the basement. I don't know how anyone can bear to use the "laundry room" down there; which are basically the crappiest 3 washers and dryers from the 80's you can imagine. I lived here years ago when it was managed by Robert Hill and while not the greatest, at least it was affordable, the super was excellent and I always had heat. I moved back thinking it would be as I remembered, but it is horrible. These people have no conscience. If I can ask, has anyone attempted to break their lease and if so, how did you and were there any repercussions? <P>
