Review for The Crossings At Heritage Apartments

This is a new senior community at Heritage Wake Forest that was supposed to open in September 2005. It is now November and it looks like completion is at least 3 weeks out not including the time it will take to get the Certificate of Occupancy. My parents were going to move here, but as construction slowed to almost a standstill, we were concernced that their unit would not be ready by the first of Nov. We told management that my parents would not be moving in and requested our security deposit back. Our deposit check was cashed even though they were never even approved for this apartment! Now it's been 6 weeks (2 weeks past legal limit for holding security deposits) and we are still waiting. I think it's appalling the way First Centrum treats senior citizens. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place!
