Review for The Vinoy Apartments

We had to stay here while our hosue is being built for 6 months and it was the worst 6 months ever. We were on the bottom floor and could here everything from other people's doors, conversations, every time someone used the stairs outside, to the people upsatirs peeing in the toilet. We had a maintenace problem so I left a message on the voice mail. It took them a week and a half to come out (by that time we fixed it ourselves- the same day problem occured). When they did come out I was at work and they left a notice saying that they took care of the problem. Hello!!!! My stopped up toilet was taken care of over a week ago and you are saying you fixed it today. Our rent if we renewed our lease went up $100 plus for a tiny 2 bdrm apartment--- Not on your life!!!! Would not recommend this place to anyone ever. The noise is undescribably horrible not to mention the second week there my daughters scooter was stolen off our porch and over the next few months our newspaper kept getting taken.
