Apartment Reviews for Colonial Townhouses - Durham

PROS:
The apartments are pretty decent for the price. There were no bug problems at all.. at least not in my apartment. brand new carpets which was nice and lots of kitchen space. enough to put a table and chairs then still have rooom for my son to run around in his walker.
The accent walls are a great perk.
CONS:
The rudest most incoherent and careless office staff i have ever encountered. Very old cabinets and counter tops. They paint oveer them well. Some cracks in the wall around corners of door frames. rusty holes around bathroom plumbing pipes. Very thin walls, but it's not bad if noise doesnt bother you. We like to have fun and play music on the weekend as did our neighbors so it wasnt a nuisance. and the whole building was pretty good at being respectful and quiet during the week. but u can hear everything from running up the stairs to muffled conversation in the kitchen. again, very thin walls. Parking is a son of a!!

Overall...if you're looking for something cheap and tolerable and temporary. this might be the place. I wouldn't expect someone to wanna renew a lease. If you can tolerate rude office staff and other minor issues with this place or just not let it bother you i say you got yourself a good deal at a decent price.
