Pretty good place to live ( 08/07/2012 )

This isn't a bad place, especially if you are a college student. A lot of my neighbors work at RTP too, so I guess it's pretty close to there as well. The maintenence staff is pretty great, and usually if I have a problem, they are able to fix it that day usually, and if not, then the following day. Probably the best thing about this apartment complex is the price. I mean, look, you get what you pay for, so don't expect a 4 star hotel. But I mean, it's a place to live, and it's decent. It does have a pool and a fitness center, so that's a plus for sure. But it's super cheap. So like I said, for a college student or whatever, it's totally legit as far as price goes.

First i am not an apt employee.
We lived in the front of the complex by the office. The only bad thing i can say about the complex is the apts are drafty...they are old. Our electric bill goes up to $90 in the winter even with our programable thermostat. Mind you its a 1bdrm apt.
If we ever had a maintenance issue it would be solved in less than 48hr. The grounds are always kept nice and office staff was pleasant (under new management as of 8/10).
There was the occasional car breakin though but none it my section.
Bugs,...we did see the occasional bug. They do have exterminators out every month though. The complex is surrounded by trees so that may be expected.
From my time there it has really only been working people living there with the occasional college student.
Oh there was one thing that made us very upset. When we signed our lease there was a section that said 20% of rent will be put aside into their housing fund for you. Basically they put the money away so that you can buy one of their own properties. So during our 3rd renewal that clause was gone and so was our money. we were only upset because we were thinking of buying a house.
Other than that just pray for good neighbors.
