Review for Carriage House Apartments

Safety is the biggest concern here. There are brutal muggings and fights in the parking lots. All the lights in the parking lot are blown out but the slumlord refuses to replace them. He also refuses to put locks on our windows. The worst part is that half of the apartments use the same key and lock. I have accidentally unlocked my neighbors door on more then one occasion. The "shared" back yard was also used as a military test zone, so its full of land mines. Yes, believe it or not our apartment is 20 from a mine field. They say pets are "acceptable" but sometimes the repair man will murder them while you are not home. I asked them to replace my smoke detector because it would catch fire when any smoke was detected, instead they gave me "911" written on a slip of paper. I am also reasonably sure that the slumlord is baking meth in the unused apartments. The worst part is that if you are late on rent, they release a pack of dogs into your apartment. I have had to run threw the mine field to avoid getting mauled. I would recommend this apartment to some friends, and definitely the in-laws. But i would say it is one step below homelessness.
