Apartment Reviews for Village Townes - New Bern

Village Townes is a good starter apartment for a single person or married couple. The apartments themselves are pretty basic and small, but you get what you pay for (low rent). Neighbors are very quiet, and no crime as far as I've heard. The landscapers do a good job on upkeep. My only complaints are the lamp posts on two of the three sides are constantly out, which is not a good safety issue at night, and the issue has also never been resolved by management. Also, the laundry room only has 2 of each (outdated) washer and dryer, and frankly the washers steal your laundry tokens like it's their job (also another issue never resolved.) <P>
Village Townes is within walking distance of downtown New Bern and also the local park. It really is a nice area to live in. <P>
