Apartment Review for The Vinings at Wildwood

This place at first glance is amazing. Everything is brand new, gorgeous, amble parking BUT since moving here 4 months ago I have had to call maintenance multiple times due to having TWO doors fall off, electrical problems and my air conditioning not working. All of which were fixed quickly, but for paying 800 a month in a brand new apartment complex its a rip off.

Another issue with this apartment complex is there is only one dumpster for the entire building. The dumpster is on the other side of the complex which makes it a pain to take out the trash and its constantly full. On my lease, it says we do not pay for trash, but its an extra 8 bucks a month plus a $4 billing fee.. You are charging me 4 bucks to bill me? For something that I shouldn't be billed for in the first place?

I do feel as the walls are thicker than most apartment communities, but it doesn't deal with the fact of the unsupervised children running around screaming and being obnoxious especially at the pool. Where they have very strict rules (you can only have 2 guests and no alcohol) This is also where the grills are located. I am not looking to have a college age spring break party, but if I wanted to have over a few friends drink a cold beer and grill out you can not do so because they will prosecute you to the police. Also, the pool area is very small or so many people living in this complex.

Their laundry room has 4 washers and 4 dryers for the ENTIRE complex. (There are 6 or 7 buildings). You have option to rent a washer and dryer for an extra 35 a month, BUT 35*12 is over 400 bucks in which you could buy your own set.

The fitness room... biggest joke.

STAY AWAY! you can get something nicer and a lot cheaper in town.

The only saving grace is the neighborhood. Its about a mile from the main strip in Morehead.
