Review for Terraces At Brier Creek Apartments

The apartments are very spacious, & I love the layout. Very bright! Painting is allowed as long as you prime the walls when you move out; so you can really make it your own space. Landscaping is great, pool & fitness center are gorgeous. They even have stations w/ bags for pet waste disposal throughout the grounds.
Except for a former manager (no longer employed), the office & maintenance staff are very friendly & helpful. They host gatherings like wine tastings, feng shui lessons, & casual get-togethers usually once or twice each month.
Location is FABULOUS! Grocery store within walking distance (or 30-sec. drive), & across the street is a huge shopping center with SuperTarget, cinema, & many shops, restaurants, & utilities. You can easily walk. Across the bigger highway is another shopping center anchored by SuperWalmart, with many other shops & restaurants. Also walkable if you care to brave crossing the highway. Also very handy to RDU airport, & the location puts you midway between Raleigh & Durham, so you are in the heart of everything. I love living here!
The only things missing are: speed bumps (some folks drive alarmingly fast through the 'plex, so if you have pets or kids be cautious), more insulation (I am on 1st floor & do hear my neighbors sometimes), & sprayer nozzles for the kitchen sinks. Also, as a dog owner it would be nice if the patio opened onto the lawn (it's just a stationary rail w/ no gate). Then we could just step out for the dog to do her biz... now we have to walk all the way around the building.
Overall, this is a great place to live. :)
