I've been at Brookefied for only a year. I really like it, I've met most of my neighbors. Its a great little community I like that its small and not over crowded. Its in a great location close to everywhere I need to be

I moved to Brookefield in the midst of a divorce. My son was 4yrs old at the time and safety, school ratings, and space were my top priorities. So I looked up the neighborhood schools and rode through in the evening to check lighting and noise levels. I was pleasantly surprised to know that it's just as quiet as it is in the day.
Brookefield has a spacious floor plan which helped in moving from a house to an apartment. I had to get rid of less furniture. Its tucked away within a neighborhood which was more appealing to me.
Stacy is THE BEST! I am seriously scared to move anywhere else because I've read horror stories about property office managers. She is personable and has NEVER said she would do something and didn't get it done asap. Donnie is honestly the best maintenance man EVER! There has NEVER been a time when I had to wait more than two days for something to be taken care of. To me, they exhibit integrity and its a rare find.
My son says he feels like he has a backyard because of the landscape. He has plenty room to run around, open grass spaces around each building is rare. The pool is well maintained and there are grills set throughout the property.
Rent is so reasonable which is another reason I've been there for 4 yrs. You will not see garbage bags or toys in the hallways like other apartments. You will not see over crowded horrible looking balconies. There's no loud music, out of control reckless college kids, or suspicious predators. You will feel like you're getting more than your money's worth There is a shopping center, which includes Harris Teether's, a bank, Starbucks, a spa, Khols, etc. in walking distance. The mall is like ten minutes away and the airport, another necessity for me, is a straight 20-25min drive. There is also a walking/biking and hiking trail in walking distance. A couple of gym's are in the area and although small, Brookefield has its own so you can save more money!
I recommend Brookefield to single parents and all my responsible professionals friends when they are looking for a place to call home. Brookefield remains to be a jewel.

I've lived here at Brookefield since 2006 and I have to say it's a great place. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. Donnie, the maintenance guy, is always prompt with the work orders that I call in and the ladies in the office always make you feel right at home. Being from out of state I wasn't sure if I'd like living in Raleigh, but I made a great choice when I chose to live here
