I'm not one for apartment life, but I had to live in one. This place treated me well, and I tend to have high standards for accommodations. Plenty of space in the rooms. The office staff can be a little air-headed at times; giving me the wrong packages when they arrive. Walking distance to the RBC center and Carter Findley. I gave 3 stars for noise level because they were renovating the complex when we lived here. There were also some annoying thugs that liked to play their music at high levels (Im targeting you in the IROC-Z) and take photoshoots by the pool in thongs. Looked like a zebra caught in a fishnet full of creamcorn

Overall I really like this community. I will agree with the poster who said the pool is like a constant frat party with bimbos in the summer. It's so noisy and crowded up there I usually just avoid it. They kept the place up when I first moved in, but has gone downhill. Dead grass all over the place. Can be a pain when an event/game is going on at RBC or Carter Finley...don't get me started on the fair traffic. <P>
Biggest complaints are...parking. If you get home late, plan to park a mile away. Random towing...costs $100 to get your car out. My friend learned that the hard way when I forgot to put a parking pass in her car. And the whole mandatory cable situation. You cannot chose to not have cable, and if you refuse to pay your rent is considered late. Don't get me wrong, I like the idea of some utilities included in rent...like power and water. But cable? That's kind of stupid. Oh, and you have to pay water too. <P>
But in the end these are not huge things....I love the location, if you can get in on a special the rent isn't insanely expensive, except for the weekends it's pretty quiet...mostly young professionals, grad students, etc. I feel very safe here and the gym is fantastic! <P>
