Apartment Reviews for Glenwood Gardens - Raleigh

oh come on, the neighbors will tell you the "crackhead" was a 19-yo spoiled Cary boy who had a temper tantrum because a tenant's sister wouldn't be his girlfriend. (the tenant has since moved out). I'm a young single female and walk to the snooty Harris Teeter across the street all by myself nightly. I feel more comfortable here than around campus, that's without doubt. <P>
As someone with asthma & terrible allergies, for an older "true Raleigh downtown quaint place", I've been thrilled to have no problems. The hardwood floors are beautiful, neighbors look out for each other, kitchen is fantastic, price ridiculously cheap. Only had one maintenance issue with a water heater & that was fixed within a few hours. <P>
The biggest problem is living on the first floor, the upstairs noise is pretty unreasonable, particularly when there is a family above you. The landlords should know better than to lease upstairs apartments to families with 3 small children!!! So be sure to ask who's upstairs before renting a first floor apt. <P>
