Our Review for The Crossings At Alexander Place

The Crossings At Alexander Place are called luxury apartments and they certainly have the amenities to prove it. These are not the cheapest rents you will find, but the price has been worth it, especially if you are a dog lover and love the idea of the bark park right here! Also nearby are shopping and restaurants. The neighbors are a mix of young professionals and families and the staff is always planning some event to bring people together.

We have been living here since April 2011 and absolutely love it. The maintenance inside and outside is excellent. They maintain visually appealing grounds and when the pool area needed new umbrellas, they installed 8 new ones in a couple weeks. They had a first class pool party for guests which was very family oriented and an outstanding "pulled pig" bar-b-que. They replaced much needed gym and club house carpeting. The office staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, and always of assistance....the best!
Finally, my wife and I looked at a dozen apartments in the Raleigh area and The Crossings won out every time!

I have been living at The Crossings for a little over a year now and I love my apartment and the folks that keep this place running. I go in every morning to grab me a cup of coffee and am always greeted by the staff.

Maintenance is great. My smoke detector started to beep around 12am last night. I know it wasn't a true emergency, but I cannot stand noise (eek). The maintenance guy had no problem coming out to take care of it. Thank god.

My lease is up in a few months and my plan is to stick around for another year. Overall, The Crossings is a beautiful community and the staff is great. I highly recommend the Crossings.

Have been living in The Crossings At Alexander Place for one year and have to say they "go the distance" when it comes to customer service. I have never called and made a request that was not taken care of immediately if not sooner. Richard and Monica are always ready and willing to listen and take action! My hats off you to guys!!!!

My husband and I have lived here for over a year now. The staff her is great and is always available to help. I chose to live here because it’s in the perfect school district for my son. During my stay, I’ve had one complaint. The paw park! The park did get a lot of use, but I am so excited they came out of pocket to install the new turf. I am sure the other pet owners are happy about that too.

I have only lived at the Crossings for 7 months, and while I love the aesthetics(our apartment is gorgeous as far as apartment complexes go, beautiful pool and awesome amenities)and parking, noise level, safety, ect, is to be expected from any apartment complex. However, I have no idea how the lady in the office got her job. The man who works in the office is wonderful, helpful, and cheerful. The woman who works beside him, however, is one of the most unhospitable and downright miserable people I have ever come in contact with, let alone done business with. When you go to use one of the amenities, she literally rolls her eyes, snaps open the signature book, and ignores you the rest of the transaction. And if you have to bother her with another request, look out! She has literally held her hand in my face before when I was asking a question. It is sad that a rude woman ruins an otherwise pleasant apartment complex, but I would recommend renting somewhere your business is appreciated, or you are at least treated with a sliver of respect, since you are paying their salaries, and you are the reason for them being there! thats all folks;)

I moved from my apartment about 9 months ago and have been meaning to take the time to write a review. I spent 2 wonderful years at this complex. I was one of the first people to move into the complex...there were still units under construction when I moved in. I watched it grow basically. I felt at home the entire 2 years I was there. I was quite sad to leave actually but I moved out of state. The staff were beyond awesome. So welcoming, so courteous. I cannot recommend this place any higher. I loved my 2 years there.

I thought I will leave a little note to express that I will truly miss living here. My wife and I moved in two years ago and never had a problem that wasn't quickly resolved. The people working here has not changed and is always helpful. My son and I will miss having a basketball court next door. :-) If you are looking for a great place to live, I would check this place out. Mark

I have lived her for over a year and I love it. My job relocated me to the area from Virginia. The staff is excellent when I need something they get it done. Being in walking distance to a Walmart is great!! I will renew my lease at the ending date.

I lived at The Crossings for about a year after it opened. I now live in Atlanta, and I cannot tell you how much I miss The Crossings. First of all, it is beautiful, and the amenities are better than anything I have found here....it is close to everything! And the price was very good!
I did hear my neighbors doing the do one time. But overall, I would give anything to have The Crossings here. The apartments here really suck and will cost you several hundred more even outside the perimeter. To get something close to The Crossings will cost you about $1000-$1100 here.

We have been here for nearly a year and we really like the area. The community is safe and quiet. I was suprised to see such a bad rating for this community. The grounds stay clean. As you can see many of the complaints are regarding the staff and I agree they need to do better the lady who usually works in the am is rude and can get nasty but Richard is great, very friendly! The Amenities are fabulous. My only real complaint is the parking, we have had to park so far away from our apartment many times..I wish it was assigned parking.

I have not lived here long, but truly enjoy the convenience of being close to everything. The staff is great. I love the dog park which is a great place to meet people. I have regrets about my decision to move here.

I moved here from DC about a year ago. I have enjoyed my stay. The people in the office have always been helpful. My boxer Max loves the that he can run around in the dog park and get treats from the office. Being new to the area can be hard to meet new people. But, I have meet some great people in the complex and I will be around here for a while.

I have never lived in a place that did so much for their residents. I have not had any problems since I have been here. I attended the Halloween party last night and it was a blast. They had several activity stations for the children; Sack racing, coloring, fishing, food etc.. It was great. My daughter truly enjoyed herself and she is looking forward to craft night. I read some of the other comments but must say I can not picture the staff being unfriendly at all. They are the best!

I referred a friend of mine to live at the Crossings and she completed a little research of her own, as she should. She told me about this site and was not sure she should move here due to some of the comments. I could not believe it, so I decided to check it out myself, because this has been one of the best apartment living experiences I have encountered thus far. I have lived here for over a year now and I gotta tell ya, I love it! The office is very friendly and has attended to all of my maintenance request as well as noise complaints. This is all part of living in an apartment complex. I can’t expect them to control everything but I know they will at least try…believe me! My employer is transferring me to the Atlanta area and I am praying I find a place as nice as this one. There are some people that you will never please but that’s life. I would refer anyone to live her. I am glad my friend took my word verses reading some the comments posted. I know she will be happy here!

This is our 2nd year here and have enjoyed it. It looks like below has been written by the same person you can tell by the wording. None the less the one issue we had was prompltly taken care of by the staff and we were pleased with the outcome. Our apartment is beautiful and we love the pool and gym. We will most likely stay until we buy a home. We lived next door and it was not as nice.

Reading the negative reviews of this place, I'm wondering if we live in the same apartment community. The office staff here was one of the big reasons that pushed me to choose here instead of my second choice...they are SO nice and VERY helpful. As far as maintenance goes, I had one issue with the latch on my dryer, and it was fixed the next day even though they had to rush order a part for it. Parking can be frustrating some nights, since there is no guest lot, leaving them no choice but to park in front of your apartment. The layout of the units themselves are gorgeous (I'm a sucker for black appliances), and the price is REALLY not bad for what you get. My fiance and I spent a month and a half in an extended stay hotel making SURE we got the right apartment, and let me tell you...it doesn't get better for the price, especially including cable/washer/dryer (things that normally come separate) and the location. (We got a summer special of $730 a month.)

As far as the dog poop complaints, this is very much a canine community. That's part of why we love it here. We have two dogs, and people here understand dog quirks for the most part. The poop is NOT the responsibility of the apt. community. They give us bags on several corners and places to dispose of it, and they do what they can to encourage dog owners to clean up. It's not their fault we have a few rude people in the community.

I have not had many issues while living here. I visited all the apartments in the area and found that this staff was the most plesant. When I need maintenance they are there the next day. I read some of the reviews and was surprised to see only a few comments when I know several people in the community who loves living here. I am not from the area, but have meet many great people while living here. The community has great social events nearly every month. I plan on being here for a while. I really like my new place.

This is my first experience living in an apartment and I have no complaints what-so-ever. I have never had a problem with any of the staff. They have always been friendly and attentive. The few maintenance problems I have had have been fixed properly and in a timely manner. Even the maintenance people are polite. Even when I'm walking the dogs they stop, talk, play with the pups, etc. Parking is a little tight, but I have a garage and have had no issues with people parking in front of it. Overall I'm very pleased with The Crossings.
