Apartment Review for The Summit At Avent Ferry

I lived here for two years and just moved out about a week ago. My first year there wasn't too terrible. I had a couple of maintenance issues (had to get a new dishwasher my first three days there, had to have the vent for my dryer repaired, etc) at first, but nothing too major. after hving been there for about six months i started to notice mold popping up in the bathroom, no big deal right? well then i started noticing it on my windows (i had a terrace [ie basement] apartment). i had to call the front office many times before anyone would answer. they were closed when i left for school in the mornings and closed when i got back from work at night so calling was really my only option. that was finally fixed about three weeks after i noticed the problem. starting this past january my neighbor and i started having someone knock on our windows around 3am. this happened everynight for three months, then randomly stopped. we continuously called the cops, the office, did everything we could. the "prowler" then started knockng on other units and at one point escalated to masturbating infront of a womans window. it took another three months for anything to be done about him. my neighbor and i complained that we needed flood lights and they finally did that right before i left.

As for the office staff: sheila, kay and jimesha were fantastic. the new regime however is horrible. the women in the office are incredibly rude and have no desire to help you at all. they are far from professional.
