Review for Cottonwood Apartments

The apartments are beautiful. The views are some of the best in the city. Why, then, do I give this complex 1 star? I will tell you: the management is deplorable. I called the office 8 times before receiving any response, despite leaving 3 messages. When I went down to the office, the associate who was to show me the apartment was nowhere to be found, despite the scheduled showing time. While I waited for him to return, the office manager, who claimed to be "the boss around here," asked for my ID. I had not even seen the apartment yet, and she asked for my personal information. Her explanation was that she needed to make a copy of my ID "in case the associate did not return." As if I, someone who was capable of committing to a $10,000 lease agreement, was going to abduct or otherwise harm a potential landlord?!? I was refused the showing, and vowed never to return. If management cannot answer phones or be on time for appointments for a prospective tenant, what kind of treatment can you expect when you ACTUALLY LIVE THERE?!
